It got me thinking - this is a topic everyone could benefit from hearing more about! Monthly Market Reports
First, you should know that we release county-wide and regional market reports on a monthly basis, representing the prior month's closed sales transactions, pending sales transactions, and closed median sale prices for residential homes, condos, and co-ops.
We always generate these reports between the 6th and 8th of the month. It takes us about a week to process these reports, creating the Market Updates, Market Highlights, and Infographics. We put a premium on accuracy and accountability and it really does matter to us that the numbers are correct.
Maybe you don't want to wait until the 15th of the month when we're releasing our reports. Maybe you want a market report that's more specific to your area because you work in a niche location. You choose the time frame for the report - choosing either to have a one-month, three-month, six-month, or 12-month frame. You can also choose variables like start date, housing type, price range, and report type. Keep in mind, longer time frames and fewer variables result in reports that are based on a larger sample size and are therefore more reliable overall.
