There and Back Again

You're probably already an expert at using your smartphone to work quickly, to search listings, to take meetings, to schedule appointments, and to stay updated on the latest real estate news and information.

Even if you're a mobile pro, at some point in your business week, you likely return to a laptop or desktop to complete transactions, prospect for new listings, or expand your marketing efforts.

With this in mind, we're sharing 4 quick keyboard shortcuts for Macs & PCs. Try out the techniques below and see if you can put them to use as you navigate your laptop or desktop with ease.

4 Quick Keyboard Shortcuts

... for PC

... for Mac

Full Screen Mode

Press F11 (PC) or hold down Control + Command + F (Mac) to move to Full Screen Mode with your open window. Repeat to exit Full Screen Mode.

Shift Between Programs

To shift between programs that are open, hold down ALT and use TAB to select your window (for PC). For Mac, press Control + Tab to shift to the next open tab. Use Control + Shift + Tab to move to the previously open tab.

Show the Desktop

To quickly show the desktop on your PC, press WINDOWS + D. Repeat to bring back the open windows. To show the desktop on Mac, press Command + F3.

Split Screen View

To work in two programs or two windows at once, use the split screen function. Press the Windows Key and then use the arrow keys to snap the window in place on PC. Press Control + Option + Left/Right Arrow Keys to use the windows side by side.
