January 2023 New York Regional Housing Market Reports Now Available
OneKey® MLS, the source of accurate and reliable real estate data, has released the January 2023 market reports for the nine counties that make up the MLSs regional coverage area. For January 2023, OneKey® MLS reported a regional closed median sale price of $575,000, representing an increase of 1.8% as compared to $565,000 in January 2022. Year-over-year closed transactional activity was down by double digits in both the regional and local markets. OneKey® MLS reported a total of 3,551 regional closed sales transactions in January 2023, which represents a 35.7% decline compared to the 5,519 transactions. Additionally, regional pending (contracted) transactions in January 2023 were 18.5% less than they were in January 2022.
